“Have you ever spent a few hours in an olive grove? If not yet, leave the main roads one day and dare to enter an olive farm. After a few minutes, you will feel the first symptoms. Your breathing will calm down; your mind will become sharper, your gaze will widen. You will be more attentive to birdsong, around the insects, to the imperceptible movement of each leaf. »

Michel Courboulex – The olive trees (Rustic, 2016)

The history of Finca Ermita :

It's in 2020 that I discovered the ampolla in the south of Spanish Catalonia, the mountains, the sea located a few kilometers away from the Ebro Delta Natural Park which extends below and offers a magnificent landscape.
At the heart of this encounter between land and sea : olive trees , carob and almond trees the Finca Ermita, exposed to the Mediterranean sun.
As prompted by the evidence, a thunderbolt, I got involved in a crazy project (as per usual) to produce my own extra virgin olive oil.
For my own happiness and that of my children,my family,my friends and the people who come to meet this land as a link between us, synonym of roots, by nature, shared flavors and simplicity.

The domain :

Located in l'Ampolla, Spain.
10 hectares of olive trees, carob and almond trees
3 varieties of olives: bitten, Sevillenca, forge
Respect nature and our duty to give it back what it has given us.
I produce extra virgin olive oils without chemical fertilizers, pesticide and, herbicide free (but with a lot of passion and love), in order to respect the environment !
